It's Been A GREAT Week!

I think this just might be my longest post yet, with 29 pictures!

If you get bored with looking at them, that's fine, but I know some Aunties and a Grandma that will be happy to see them. :)

Ashlyn - only a few hours old

Listening to Daddy

Taking a nap on the not-so-comfy couch in the hospital

I LOVE baby feet!

And hands :)

The sunset on the day she was born

Meeting her Grandma

A perfect, little blessing!

Yep, I still love baby feet.

Home Sweet Home

Sisters

Meeting Papa....

and Aunt Bethany

All dressed to come home

Soaking in some love

Ashlyn came home on Daddy's 30th birthday!

Brotherly love :)

Jeren's decided that Ashlyn's okay to have around

Mom's home, so he's a happy camper now!

The other day, Grandma told him to get his hat, (meaning stocking hat) so he could go outside and play. This is what he came back with.

Talking to my baby girl

Daddy's hands.  The first hands to hold her.

Snug as a bug

Still love them. :)

We have a picture like this with each of our babies - I just love them.

Getting some snuggles from Grandma

Meeting Grandpa

I hope you've had a wonderful Thanksgiving day!  We were honored to have my parents here with us.  We have so much to be thankful for!  We would also like to say "Happy Birthday" to Grandma Della.  We love you!!

Have a great weekend!

Introducing......

We are very happy to introduce to you

Ashlyn Hope

She was born at 8:05 a.m.
Weighing in at 9 lbs 4 oz
20 3/4 inches long

We were only at the hospital for about an hour and a half before she was born.
Her birth was perfect!  Her daddy got to deliver her and we are totally in love already!

Daddy pointing out each detail of her beautiful face. :)
The view from our room - a beautiful fall day!

Our pastor and wife have been such a blessing today.  They brought the older kids
to see us and have been keeping them until Grandma got here.

THANK YOU, Mr. & Mrs. Jackson!!!

Kristyn inspecting her newest baby sister.

Owen announced that he had prayed for a brother, but he is most definitely in love with his sister already.

Megan was thrilled with "Ash-A-lyn" :)

Jeren was more interested in watching the cars go by than kissing on his sister.

What a miracle!!!
We are thrilled that Grandma could come and stay with the big kids - she's not one bit proud, can you tell?

She brought along a big helper - Abbie

We feel so incredibly blessed today for our precious family.

God is so good!

We've Got More To Go To Heaven For...

Grandma Schaper went to be with Jesus today.

This picture was taken almost a year ago when they came for a visit.

She was a very godly woman who loved God and her family.  She will be greatly missed!

Owen Preaching To Megan and Jeren

He has no idea I'm listening - I thought it might bring a smile to your face. :)
**************************************************************

Praise the Lord and Hallelujah!

God will send His angles to take care of you as long as you'll take care of Him.

And not shoot Him, only deer.

(Megan: "Praise the Lord")

If you have your Bible, turn to page 96, Praise the Lord and Hallelujah!

And Praise the Lord, when you get older and older and older, you will get married
And I will get married when I'm old, so Praise the Lord!

(Megan: "Hallelujah")

Jesus shall make us whole as fast as He can
Bless the Lord in meekness, all that extend His life

Now let's all go blow our nose

(Megan: "Okay")

Now they are singing at the top of their lungs:
"Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord"
"Let the earth hear His voice"
"Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord"
"Let the people rejoice"

What a sermon!!! :D

Maternity Pictures....

If you know me at all, you know that I like to take maternity pictures with each baby.  That being said, I wrote a disclaimer HERE last year about how I think I look. :D    I can't believe how much the kids have grown just from last summer.

Hope you enjoy these!

This is Keith's favorite - it was extremely windy!

I am very blessed!
