Being The Third Child....

It's TOUGH!!!!!

....But these two just look so innocent!
We have had a great week, can you tell? :)

On a completely different note, a few weeks ago someone e-mailed us a video clip of Nick Vujicic. He was born without arms or legs and has an amazing testimony! After watching the video clip, Keith went to his website (lifewithoutlimbs.org) and looked under the schedule tab and saw that he was scheduled to speak at a church about 2 1/2 hours from here. Of course, he immediately said, "We're going!"

So Wednesday afternoon Keith and I and another couple took 2 bus loads of teenagers (30 people in all) to hear Nick Vujicic speak. That man is incredible. He spoke on the worthiness of God. It put me to shame, because I have 2 perfectly good legs and arms and still I grumble sometimes.

I would encourage you, if you ever get a chance to hear him speak, it will be worth your drive and you won't be disappointed. You can also go on You Tube and type his name in and watch him speak. He is a powerful speaker!

The pictures are kind of blurry...sorry!

He brushes his own teeth, combs his hair, SHAVES by himself (although, I think he forgot to shave before he came Wed. night. :) ) he can even swim by himself....unbelievable!!
Well, that about sums up all I have for now. Have a great weekend!!!

A Miniature Bride and A Praise...

This past Saturday, Kristyn was the miniature bride at a wedding. She thought was she in princess land all day. :) Here are a few pictures.

Quite the little lady, huh?
She wanted a picture with "Big Josh".

Her and "Little Josh" found lots of cool things to do while they were waiting for pictures.

"Boy, this is getting long....."
Congratulations, Josh and Heidi! We are so happy for you guys!

And now for my praise:
A friend of mine asked me to take pictures of her grandsons yesterday. Our camera has been messing up and I prayed and asked God to please help the camera to work. So yesterday when I took the pictures, the camera did great until the very end. So I want to thank the Lord for helping the camera. :)

Since they're not my kids, I'm only putting one picture of these darlings on here. Aren't they cute?
Thanks for dropping by. Have a great day!! By the way, ANGIE, thanks for leaving a comment on the last post!!! ;)

Arthur and Jessica....

Jessica asked me to take some picture of them this week. Here are a few of my favorite (I took 85 pictures, so I couldn't put all of them on here). Jessica has one of those pregnant bodies that we all wish we had. (not the over-sized barn look that I usually have) :) I hope you enjoy them.

It was hilarious getting this picture. She kept laughing and bouncing the blocks off her tummy. :)
The note says, "To Arthur and Jessica, With Love From God."
Only 2 more weeks to go!

Thanks for letting me take your pictures, Arthur and Jessica. It was fun!!

10 weeks old....

Our little cherub was 10 weeks old yesterday. Where does the time go?
We are enjoying every minute of his sweetness!!
Today, he started looking at his hands. I love watching him!!!

He loves to "coo" and smile at whoever will give him attention.

What a wonderful blessing from God he is!

Cause To Celebrate...

Today was the big day that George decided to come out of his chrysalis! Last night when we went to bed he had turned black and we could see the orange and white and the pattern of the wings. It was so neat to see. (Go down a few posts to see previous pictures of George)

We were all so excited when we got up this morning and found George like this....
He was just pulling his feet out of the chrysalis and was still very wet.
We went to church and RUSHED home to let George out of his jar.
I LOVE the look of awe in Owen's eyes.

As you can see Megan thought it was "Ewwww".

Kristyn held him on her finger and carried him outside to the garden to put him on a flower.

Always the drama queen, Kristyn was very sad to see him fly away. :)

So long, George, it was a pleasure having you! :)

A little bit of this and that....

We had a reunion last weekend in TN and had a grand time. Here are some pictures.

Payton!

Owen and Zack :)
Owen and Grandpa
Some of the kids enjoying the pool.
Kaylee and Owen
Two-peas-in-a-pod, Karissa and Kristyn
Now we're back home and Kristyn and Daddy's back to school and this little man's feeling quite lonely. He was playing in the garden when I took this picture.
Yesterday was the first day I braided Megan's hair. I thought they were cute!
As an update on George, he is still "sleeping" as Owen says. He is turning a duller green and you can see the pattern of the wings through the cocoon. Wednesday will be 2 weeks, so hopefully he will decide to come out then. :)

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!! Thanks for stopping by.
