A GREAT weekend!!!

A couple of weekends ago, my wonderful brother Jeremy and his (equally wonderful) wife, Trelanie came up to help us have our garage sale.  We would have NEVER had it without them for a multitude of reasons, but with their help, we got rid of a lot of things we won't be needing.

After we cleaned up, we headed out to Uncle Micheal's farm and spent the rest of the evening enjoying the great outdoors, complete with hotdogs and "smarsh-mellows".

Two tired, post-garage sale Mama's.

One crazy, post-garage sale Dad....yikes!!

Filthy, tired, HAPPY boy!!

Thank you SO much, Jeremy and Trelanie, for coming up and helping us.  We never could have done all that without your help!!  We appreciate you all!!! :D

St. Louis Arch

A few weeks ago, we had a wonderful visit from Misty and Wesley and their family.  It was so fun having them here for a couple of days.

As they were heading home, we all went to the St. Louis Arch.

This was the first time any of our kids had been up to the top.  In our little cubical ready to head up. Megan was a little worried going up, but was fine coming down.

At the top, the kids were so excited to see our suburban and tiny people walking around.

On the bottom right picture you will see the largest St. Patrick's Day parade in the US.    The boys thought the Cardinals Stadium was neat to see.

St. Louis Skyline.

Under the Arch there is a museum that is very interesting.  All the kids wanted to fill out the books to become Junior Rangers. They took this job VERY seriously....Daddy did, too, I think. :)~

May I present the new Junior Rangers of America!

*I love this picture - Kaylee is holding her hand up like she's being sworn in and Owen has his hand over his "heart" (wrong side) like he's saying the pledges.   Heehee!!!!

After a few fun hours in the museum, we went outside for a picnic.

After we left the Arch, we decided to go over the Stan Musial Bridge over into IL. This bridge was finished last year and it's a very neat bridge.

 Old St. Louis.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting the Arch with us.   We love your comments. :)

A full, FUN week!

Last week was a delightful week, packed with fun and lots of love and smiles.

To start it off, Grandma and Papa came for a visit - always a treat - and brought along two cousins - double treat!  We all had gobs of fun - Thank you for coming, Momma and Pops!!! Come again soon!

Then we went to Misty's for the weekend and got to go on a field trip with their homeschool group.  The kids loved it!!

Our Megan Joy turned 6 on Thursday and Mr. Carl ordered her 6 roses and a balloon to be delivered.

He also brought her a cake (which we took to Misty's to celebrate with the cousins) and of course it was a rainbow cake because Megan's favorite color is rainbow - LOL!!!!

Misty, my mom and I got a real treat and went to a ladies conference while the daddys watched over the kids.  Pictures of that coming very soon. :)

What a great week we had....one that won't soon be forgotten.   How was your week?

A BLESSED week in review

We were very blessed last week!  I'm sharing some of those blessings with you.

A friend sent two boxes - one of the boys and one for the girls!!  One of the kids asked, "How did they know I needed these? (Jeans) :)  I told them that maybe Jesus told that person.

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for your kindness!!

Then my brother and his family came for a family reunion, but stayed with us over the weekend and we got to be with them when they were here - what a blessing family is!

Checking out piglets.

Kittens!

Then, our uncle shared his corn with us and we spent HOURS putting up corn - 120 pints to be exact!

The MR. & MRS! :)

And then, we had a note in our seat on Sunday saying that plans had been made for Thursday night that involved us. No name, or details were given.
Thursday night came and in came our friends, Eric and Heather with Pizza, Doritos and Pepsi for the kids - and Elise to babysit them and they said we were to go with them.
So off we go to Red Lobster!!  We had a very enjoyable evening with them.

THANK YOU, ERIC AND HEATHER!!!!!!!  That was so thoughtful of you!

Lastly, two weeks has come and gone and it was back to the Orthopedic for Kristyn's arm.  She had asked us to have special prayer the night before that her cast could come off.

Just got the news - "It's coming OFF!!!"

Waiting to see the Dr. before heading home again.

One happy girl!!!

So that has been our week!

Have you been blessed this week?  I'd love to hear about it. :)
