Happy Birthday, Jeremy!!!

Today is my "little" brother's birthday. It's hard to believe that we're all grown-up with families of our own. Growing up, Jeremy and I were best buddies and are still close. I appreciate my little Bro and very proud of him. He's a hard working lineman and a wonderful daddy to his two little girls.

This picture was taken a few years ago, but I still like it. :)

We love you, Jeremy!! Thanks for being such a great brother and friend.

Cookin' Up Some Fun With Daddy...

The other night the kids were having some fun with Daddy. Megan was walking around with this box and fork all evening. She would walk around and "stir" her little box. It was so cute to watch her.

She decided Daddy needed a bite of whatever she was cooking.

The kids love to play with Keith. Here's Megan going on her "airplane" ride.

Some smooches for Daddy.

Perfect ending to a fun evening, a horsey-ride to the bathtub!

Thanks for stopping by! We love hearing from you.

Come Have Tea With Me.....

Kristyn and Megan got a tea set for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa. Kristyn LOVES to have tea parties, so the other day they all had a tea party in the living room. Here's a few pictures for you to enjoy.

Water and apple slices. :) Sounds like a good "tea party" to me.
Megan sporting her first black eye and a mouth full of apple.
What a manly thing to do at a tea party.

It's such a big job serving tea. :)

There's Warmer Days-A-Comin' Bye and Bye.......

I can't say that I don't like winter, but once Christmas is over, I would be fine with skipping to March-like weather. Not skipping the months, just the weather part. :) I LOVE flowers and gardens and pretty much anything that is going on outside (incase you couldn't tell), so when I'm getting "cabin-fever", I like to look at my pictures from the past summers and enjoy the memories and remind myself that there ARE warmer days coming! I have more pictures than I care to admit, or confess, but I thought I'd share a few with you and hopefully brighten up your day. :)

I added the background just for Kristyn. Anyone that knows her, knows that she LOVES "pupcakes" as she calls them.

The ABC Confusion...

Here is a conversation I heard a few days ago.

Kristyn - "Owen, you need to say you're ABC's. Say, A"

Owen - "A"

(All through the alphabet)

Kristyn - "W - X - Y - Z"

Owen - "Double-me - X - Y - Z"

Kristyn - "No, Owen, it's W"

Owen - "Double-me"

Kristyn - "No! W! Say double"

Owen - "Double"

Kristyn - "U"

Owen - "Me?"

Kristyn - "Grrr...just forget it, Owen"

Owen - "Okay! (long pause) I'm sorry, Kristyn."

Kristyn - Big smile "Oh that's okay!"

I hope that brought you a little smile like it did me when I heard it. I love hearing them talk!

Catching Up...

WARNING!!! Lots of pictures....

First of all, we would like to thank each of you for your kind words of congratulations on our coming baby! We are thrilled with our new blessing. I took the older two with me to the doctor yesterday and Kristyn was so excited to hear the baby's "heartbeep." :)

Here's some pictures of our Christmas'. As always, we had a wonderful time with our families!

Grandpa Schaper. If I remember right, he said he has 84 in his immediate family with (so far) 3 more on the way for this year. Grandma was in the hospital and wasn't able to be at Christmas.
Here are some of the great-grands.

This was at Keith's family Christmas. Grandma got all the kids a "lunch pail" full of picnic stuff, so of course, they all had a picnic the next day. Don't you love the dresses and bonnet?

Megan and Ava!

Getting a ride on Papa's back.

The Schaper gang.

Megan stayed nice and warm wraped in the carrier. She got lots of smiles!

At our Christmas, this is how Kristyn listened to Daddy reading the Christmas story.

Our stocking stuffers, getting ready to open presents. :)

My mom always makes Christmas cookies with all her grands, (the one's that are old enough) and the kids always look forward to it.
Grandpa taking the kids on a "bear hunt." Owen claims they saw a "big one," but he shot it. :)
Elise keeping the littles entertained. By the way, Elise made a 4.0 last semester in college. We are SO proud of her!!!
Tori feeding Owen some of her pretend food. Looks more like a tonsilectomy to me. :)

All of mom and dad's grands. The oldest one is 5 years old and our baby coming will make # 10 in the family. :) They always have a grand time when they're together.

That's it for our pictures. I hope you enjoyed them.

A Tiny Update....

Have you ever felt like you've been around the world and back again in just 2 weeks? That's kind of how we feel. We've been visiting our families for Christmas and had a wonderful time. We always enjoy being with our family!!! But it is also wonderful to be back home safe and sound. :) Needless to say, I have unpacking, putting away and all that kind of stuff to do, before I can catch up on here, but I thought I'd drop in and say hello and let you know about our most exciting news of the season!!! (You might need to click on the picture to read it) We gave this card to our families for Christmas.
I hope each of you had a wonderful Christmas season! I'll see you after all the unpacking is done. :)

(There you go, Missy! :) )
