Two Very Special Announcememts...

First of all, I am happy to announce that I am the very proud Auntie to my very first nephew!
This is Mr. Trent Lee.  He arrived this morning weighing in at 8 pounds and 19 inches long.  He is a perfect little blessing from God.

Congratulation, Jeremy and Trelanie!

Secondly, after much sweat, blood and tears..okay, not really.....I have opened a Hair Bow Shop

I would like to publicly thank my dear sister for her hours of encouragement, motivation and stern advise ;) in helping me get this going.  Keith has also been a huge blessing, helping me pick out the ribbon (see hair bow below) and words of encouragement and great advise on which ribbon looks best with each other...(I'm sure he really didn't care, but he acted like he did)

I would also like to thank my friend, Adrian, for letting me use her precious little darling to model my headbands.  Go take a look, she's just as cute as can be.  And also my family and friends for their help and encouragement!

So without any further ramblings, I'd like to invite you to stop by the Hair Bow Shop (my sister named it) and shop around.  Almost everyone in your life needs a bow.  Like your daughter, niece, friend, friend's friend, friend's daughter, friend's granddaughter, granny (you know that one certain spot that's going bald?), granny's friend, your neighbor, little girls on your block, birthday gifts, your precious little canine friend, your canine friend's friend, your vet's canine friend....well, I think I'm rambling again, but you get the picture. :)

I'd love to hear what you think about it....good, or bad let me hear it. :)

Last Thursday.....

Last Thursday was a perfect day!  We had such a fun time and enjoyed the sunshine and warm weather.  Here are a few pictures:

A little boy with a BIG imagination!

Don't ever get into a fight with a shovel....it will win every time. :)

We climbed through more fences than I can count.....we weren't trespassing. :)

While we were walking, Owen turned to me and said, "Mom, isn't God good to us?"  I couldn't agree more!
Perfect ending to a perfect day!

The Boys....

Here is an update from the "Boys" in our house.

This one is all into cowboys.  He is rarely seen without his rope, cowboy hat and boots.  He's full of life and brings smiles to everyone around him!

This little man (Jeren) has been sick!  Yesterday he was in the wrap most of the day being toted around by Mommy and Daddy.

I love this picture.  Keith was singing to him.

I say REAL men wear babies! :)

Spring Is In The Air.......

Aren't these just the cutest things you've ever seen?

Is It Spring, Yet?

I know it's coming!  There are robins all across the yard, baby calves in the field, tiny specks of green peeking through the dirt, slightly warmer days, farm stores with "Chick Days" signs hanging out, nurseries with seed packets and pansies for sale....... so it's coming!

I forgot to add: There's also MUD!!!

Grandma's Visit...

Grandma came to visit last week and brought a BIG surprise for the kids.  She kept telling them, "I'm bringing your a surprise," and they would try to guess.

First, let me say,( because I don't know how to move pictures once they are posted) she made each of us these adorable Valentine cookies.  They were sugar cookies and she put a stick in them, so they looked like suckers and then put each of our names on them.  Very tasty and totally cute!  (Jeren's was the white one, she ran out of red icing and NO he did not eat his. ;)  )

Can you tell they were enjoyed?

So back to the surprise that Grandma was bringing.  She came in and Keith brought in a big "package" all covered in a blanket and the kids pulled the blanket off and out popped TORI!!!  They were very excited!

Needless to say, there were many hours of fun in this house!

I have been taking a cake class each Tuesday night.  Keith is a saint!  He keeps the kids for 2 hours while I take the class and when I come home, the kids are all snuggled in bed fast asleep.  What a guy!
So last week Keith kept them all again, except we took Jeren and told my mom to go with me.  We had fun and this was the cake I made.

Don't they just make you smile?

Thank you Mom and Tori for coming!  We thoroughly enjoyed you being here!
