We Had Our Ultrasound....It's A............

Our ultarsound appointment was for 8:30 this morning and we got to see our precious little baby. I am always amazed everytime I have an ultrasound how incredible God is and how AMAZING this little life is, growing inside of me! Part of the time, the baby was covering it's face with it's hands and then it would move them and "wave". At one time it opened it's mouth like it was yawning. Keith and I were both so thrilled with this little person.......

Before I forget, I'll pause about the baby and put some pictures from our week.
.
Kyle and Mandy got our kids a set of these (Wedgits) for Chirstmas. They are wonderful "toys" and I would highly recommend them for any family. We have all had SO much fun with them. They are all seperate shapes and it comes with a book and you have to try to buid it like the pictures. VERY FUN!!

Kristyn was quite proud of her and daddy's hard work in creating this work of art.

Kristyn was telling Keith which color of square to put on next. It really does make you think.
Owen made this creation all by himself. Did I mention that they are all seperate pieces, so if it gets knocked over.....yep, all over the floor they go! :)We had an absolutely beautiful day this week and we spent all day outside.

The kids wanted to rake the place where our garden is going to be. Owen was really taking it seriously. For those concerned, I do not make Kristyn wear a bonnet, she just LOVES wearing them and playing dress up. :)

Kristyn loves to help me make supper. One day last week we had chicken pot pie and she wanted to roll out the dough for the crust. She did a great job, with much help from mommy, of course. :)

Okay, back to the baby......it was so nice to be able to see it and watch it move around and kick it's little legs. It has HUGE feet!!! :) I am not very "up to date" with our scanner, so I'll have to wait until Keith gets home to put a picutre of the baby on here.
.
**By the way, we chose not to find out if it was a boy, or a girl. :) Oh, is that why you were reading this post??? I'm so sorry to disappoint you! I'm glad you stopped by though. :) We'd love to hear from you, so leave a comment! :)

Have a great weekend!!

One Pair of Hands....

We have had a wonderful time with our families visiting. I don't have a lot of time to post pictures right now, but a friend sent me this song and I thought the words were so beautiful.

I am so thankful I have Someone I can put my trust in and like this song says "when life goes wrong" I can put my faith in one pair of hands. I can't imagine living even one day without Him. He is SO good to me!One pair of Hands

I'm not a huge fan of You Tube, but I wasn't able to put the link on here that I tried, so I found it on You Tube.

I hope you enjoy it!
Have a blessed day!

Our Little Man....

It's hard to believe that 3 years ago today, this little bundle entered our lives. We have been so blessed to have him as part of our family. Grandma and Papa came up yesterday to stay for a couple of days, so they got to help us celebrate his birthday.

Owen Keith just a few hours old. Feb. 13, 2006.

First birthday.
Second birthday.
Now he's a grown up three year old!
I've been asking him for a while what he wanted for his birthday and he would ALWAYS say he wanted a "bicycle cake". I looked several places for a cake pan shaped like a bike, but could never find one, so I attempted to make his little dreams come true with a bike cake. :) Not the most professional cake out there, but I enjoy making them.

He wanted to help me cut the cake.
My little man!
He got his very own "big boy" bike and was very excited!
Grandma reading him one of his birthday cards.
We have had a wonderful time with Grandma and Papa here. Thank you for coming up to see us!

Happy Birthday, Pops...

Today is Keith's dad's birthday. He is a great dad and Papa to the kids. He loves ALL of his grandchildren and is very excited when there is an announcement that another one is on the way. We are blessed to have him for our "dad" and enjoy being with him when we're together.

This was when Owen was a baby. They all know that Papa loves them.
Owen and Papa almost share the same birthday. Owen's is the 13th.

I found this picture and couldn't resist, because I've gotten this look a few times. If we could all see his face, I'm probably getting one of these looks right now. :) (I love you, too. :) )
We love you, Pops, and hope you have a wonderful birthday. We can't wait to see you in a few days!!

Just Checking In...

We have had a very busy weekend and this week doesn't look any slower, but I thought I'd drop in and give a little update. Jeremy and Trelanie (my brother and sister-in-law) came up Saturday and said they were staying until Wednesday. :) We love having our family here, so we're happy that they can stay that long. These are the only pictures I've taken since they've been here and for some reason they posted backwards, but that's okay.

I took these the other night while we were having devotions before going to bed.
I thought they were so cute all lined up saying their prayers.
This was before prayer and I can't remember what Tori was requesting prayer for, but it looked like Owen was really thinking about that one.

They wanted to sing a few songs, so they sang "Deep and Wide"......

and "Only a Boy Named David" .....(and the giant came tumbling down)
These three have been having so much fun together. We are enjoying their family being here.
