My Man, Their Daddy......

He's the Leader of our Pack.....He loves God with all of his heart......
He loves to hold his kids...even if it is in his ball glove.
The bottom one is Kristyn....(someone told me the other day, I was just a Xerox machine.)
He loves to have fun with the kids...
He is our leaning post when times get tough....
He helps me in the kitchen, even though he hates tomatoes....(I can kind of see a "this is disgusting" look on his face)
He's not afraid of hard work.....
even if it's in the house....

well, except for when Arthur's around, then they don't get much done. :)
He loves to play with the kids and the kids love to play with him.....
He loves being out in the woods and looking for deer tracks......(when he's not hunting)

and showing me the big buck prints. (they all look the same to me)

He loves his brother.....and loves to send him crazy e-mails of the buck he shot on Tuesday. (snicker)
He loves to have fun....
and even though he doesn't like to fish, he takes the kids fishing, because they like it.

He loves going to his brothers house....what crazy fun they have!
He loves playing with the kids.....(did I already mention that?)
He is one proud Daddy and loves his children unconditionally.........

even though they make him nervous sometimes. (see previous post)
He's the best Daddy to have around......
He loves his family........
He's my very best friend and I feel honored to be his wife.........
Happy Birthday to the best man in the world. We love you!!!!

Mayday! Maday!

Owen and I had just went and got Kristyn from school and I walked in the house and I hear, "Momma, Momma" It wasn't a distress call, but I knew whoever it was, they wanted me to come see something. When I walked out, this is what I saw.
Owen, in all of his three year old wisdom had drug the slide to the side of the tree so he could get up to the first limb. He was VERY proud of his accomplishments.....me, not so much!!!
Cowboy boots and all!
Keith was trying to tell him how to get down.
Keith looked at me and screeched, "He's only THREE years old!" I told him, I remember climbing trees with I was three years old and he said, "Yeah, I probably did too, but that's different!" :)
I'm happy to report, they both survived the experience.....Owen a little better than his daddy I think. ;)

A Visit and A Birthday...

Grandma came for a visit last week and we ALL thoroughly enjoyed her being here. We even took Kristyn out of school early one day to go to the park. :)

Thank you for coming!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Last week, Megan turned 2 years old. It's so hard to believe that she is that old already. Keith and I were talking the other night and it just seems like yesterday, we were visiting her in the "Special Care" nursery when she looked like this:
and now, she looks like this:
We are SO blessed!! She had a wonderful birthday, we spent the whole day outside enjoying the nice weather and having fun as a family! (Grandma had to go home on her birthday, but we celebrated the night before.)
Here are some of her presents. :)
She was very happy to get a "Big" Bible. Kristyn and Owen have theirs that they take to church and she would always whine around about having to take her little New Testament. :) She was VERY proud to take her Bible to church on Sunday and I saw her showing several people her new Bible. :)
Having fun in the leaves!!!
A Little Bit of Everything....
My mom sent me these pictures of when Owen was down there at their house. Looks like he had it rough. :)
Last week Kristyn had "show and tell" at school and she needed to take something that started with a "T". She decided she wanted to take her tea set and have a tea party.....I'm sure the boys were thrilled!
Our growing little man.
The other day, I found Megan in the corner with the picnic basket having her own little tea party. She was quite pleased with herself.
This morning I heard Owen screeching in the garage about something. He was in a panic/overwhelmed state when he found me. I tried to get a picture of his face, but then he just smiled. He told me there was a "ooooge" mouse in the garage. It was so funny to see him like that....terrible mother, I know.
At least it's not like the visitor that Mandy had last week. :/
Best Buddies!!
