Down By The Creek Bank....

I've done several posts, so be sure to scroll down below this post. I thought it might be easier this way instead of one giant post. I hope you enjoy them!

Today was a very warm day, so this afternoon we played in the creek. What a fun time we had!
Owen was on a mission!
What a blessed wife and momma I am!!

"Hey, guys, wait for me!"

Owen decided to just take the plunge.

Do you think she might be enjoying herself?

What a great way to end the day!

Gobble, Gobble...

Today was a RED LETTER day!! Keith shot his first turkey.

Yummm, I can already taste it!!

A Hunting We Will Go.....

We went mushroom hunting with Arthur and Jessica, unfortunately we didn't find any (hopefully we'll have better success tomorrow when we go), but we did have a lot of fun tromping through the woods.

This owl kept a watchful eye on us. I have never seen an owl nest, or even an owl sitting on a nest. It was WAY up in the very top of the tree, but thanks to zoom on the camera we got to get a better look at it.

Jessica didn't find a mushroom, but she did find a 4-leaf clover. Too bad it didn't give us any luck. :)

Kristyn found what she was "hunting" for.

The way Owen started out, you would have thought the mushrooms were hunting him. :)

I think Megan had the easiest walk of us all!

Maybe we'll get some tomorrow when we go "mushroom hunting" again.....

Pictures From the Last Post...

Here are the pictures I promised in my previous post (Home Sweet Home). They are not in order for some reason.....sorry!

While we were in KS for Keith's Grandma's funeral we stayed with Kyle and Mandy (Thank you!!!). The boys did what they love to do, rode 3-wheelers.

The girls had a grand time making their little "house".

Megan trying on Kristyn's dress up bonnet.

This was in OH where we went for the wedding. This buggy was outside of a shop there. Kristyn and Owen were thrilled to get to play on it!

We passed this huge "basket" on our way. It's actually the office building for Longaberger baskets. Owen asked if we could go inside and have a picnic. :)
So I think I'm caught up now! I hope you enjoyed the little peek of what's been going on in our little lives!

Home Sweet Home...

For some reason, I can't upload pictures and I've tried numerous times, but I decided to do a little update anyway, even if there aren't any pictures.

Keith and I were talking the other day and in the last 3 weeks, we have been in:

Missouri

Kansas

Oklahoma

Back to Missouri

Illinois

Indiana

Ohio

Back to Missouri

Back to Kansas

Finally, Back to Missouri (yesterday)

It is so good to be home.

In Ohio, we attended a friend's wedding and there was a lot of Amish in the area and Kristyn and Owen wanted to ride in a buggy so bad, but they never got to. There was a horse and buggy (the horse was not real) outside a shop that they got to sit up on and Owen thought he was ready to hit the trails. Later that day, we heard him in the van praying and asking Jesus to give him a horse and buggy. :) We drove all night that night to get back home (10 hours, but we made it in 8 hours ;) ). The kids did a super job traveling, but they slept all night while we were traveling, so they were ready to get up early and Keith and I had just gotten to bed. But we all managed.

Last week, we went back to Kansas for Keith's precious Grandma's funeral. She was a dear, godly woman and will be greatly missed...more on that later.

So, until I can get some pictures on here, this little update will have to do. Keith said we're not going ANYWHERE for a very long time. :) Hopefully, we can get settled back into a normal life for a little while, until the new little member decides to join us....only about 11 more weeks to go!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
