My Dear Grandmother...

Our precious Grandmother went to be with Jesus yesterday. She was a godly example for all of us and she will be missed greatly. We are trying to pack and get around to leave, so my post for her will have to wait, but my sister did a beautiful tribute to Grandmother, you can see it here .

Since I Last Posted....

A lot has happened since I last posted. We've been having a wonderful summer so far and have enjoyed having Daddy home more. Once again, I'll let the pictures do the talking. :)

Kristyn's birthday cake. She wanted a princess cake, so I attempted to make one. Definately not an expert, but she liked it.
We had our pastor and grandkids over and some of our cousins. She had a very nice birthday.
Cherry pickin' time!!! A dear lady in our church has loads of cherries, so she asked if we wanted some. We all had a great time picking and then Elise made a yummy cherry pie!

Perfect ending to a perfect day!

Our kids love to play in the creek. We've gone a few times this summer, but this time, we actually remembered the camera. (Then the batteries went dead after a few shots.)
Keith and his grand catch. Eeewwwwww!
Elise said she was NOT getting wet. Of course, she should have never said that around Keith. It just turned into an all-out water fight after that. Yes, Keith did get VERY wet. Actually, we were all soaking wet by the time we went home. :)

Owen loves the creek and riding on the 4-wheeler. He wasn't too happy when it was time to go home.

Last weekend, we had a wonderful time with Keith's side of our family. It was so nice to be with them for a few days.

Owen and Rachel.
Playing with Owen's new basketball that he was VERY proud of. :)
The ending to a very fun day. They LOVE to have Grandma read them books.

Ready For A Walk...

This post if for my sister, Misty. She said since she can't come see my flower gardens, she wanted to see pictures. So here you go, Sis!

I think these are called Butter Cups. Aren't they cute?

I love Hen-N-Chicks! I guess I'm related to Grandmother. :)

Ever feel like an "odd ball?" This is a red rose bush and this year, there was one pink rose on it. Very strange!
I love these flowers. I have them in hanging baskets outside the kitchen window.

We found this little fellow tasting the tomato plants. (No, I was not squeezing his neck and yes, I did let him go after the picture.) :)

Where, Oh Where Did My Little Baby Go....

I've tried my hardest to put these in some kind of order, but alas, I give up!!! :) I can't believe our precious little baby is 4 years old already. I told Keith the other day, I wish I could freeze time and they stay this age forever. :)

Kristyn has brought so much joy and laughter into our lives and the lives of many others, too. She never meets a stranger (which isn't always good) and there's rarely a dull moment when she's around. We wouldn't trade her for the world and we're excited to see what God has in store for her little life.

I could go on and on bragging and saying how wonderful she is, but lest I bore you, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

All girl! Enjoying a tea party at Grandma's house. She LOVES tea parties.

She is a good big sister. Her and Owen are "best buds" (most of the time). She called him "Onion for a long time after he was born. Before she could say "Onion" he was just "O".
She adores her baby sister. She likes to help Mommy all she can.
Because Mommy won't let her carry Megan in the sling, she has to settle for her baby doll. :)
Sharing her 3rd birthday with her cousins, Abbie, Hailey and Rachel.

Two peas in a pod, right here. I've told Misty numerous times, I'm SO thankful these two aren't in the same immediate family. Karissa and Kristyn are 6 weeks apart.
Kristyn got to be the flower girl in a wedding with Gracie. She thought she was in princess Heaven, or something. :)
Momma's baby girl!!

2 years old.
"Helping" Papa fly the plane. She thought she was big stuff. On the other hand, Owen (1 week old) threw up all over Grandma....Sorry about that Grandma. :(

Enjoying some snow. We made a "snow family" this winter. She was thrilled!
She loves her Daddy! Keith told her last night that it was the last night she was going to be 3 years old, because tomorrow she would be 4 and she said, "Well, when can I get married?"

One year old!
Hanging out with Grandma.
Keith and Kristyn got to be in the wedding of some of our dear friends in FL. She wasn't quite 2 yet.
One very proud Daddy!
What a catch!
1 month old.
6 months old
Kristyn was in the Singing Christmas Tree at Hobe Sound Bible Church 4 nights in a row. She did a great job being "Baby Jesus."
Happy Birthday, Kristyn. We love you VERY much!
